Now in its fourth revised edition, this text is the translation of a complete Chinese clinical manual on TCM gynecology and obstetrics covering pathophysiology, diagnosis, therapeutic principles, and herbal treatment plans for 35 commonly encountered complaints.

This e-Book version is the complete 4th Edition.

When this book was first published in China in 1984, it was still not politically correct to identify individual author’s names as opposed to their work units or collectives. However, since Blue Poppy Press’s first publication of this book, we have learned that it is the work of Profs. Song Guang-ji and Yu Xiao-zhen, gynecology teachers at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This book was Blue Poppy’s first book length translation from Chinese. It has been so popular that we have kept it in print over 15 years with four revised editions making it better and better as time goes by. This is the workhorse of basic English language Chinese gynecology texts.
