Dr. Fan Ya-li has taught both adult and pediatric tui na of Chinese medical massage at the Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition, she worked as a doctor of tui na at the Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated hospital in Jinan. While in China, she published four on tui na and numerous articles on remedial massage in Chinese medical journals. Currently, Dr. Fan is teaching tui na at the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in St. Petersberg, Florida.
