Praise for Medicine Words:
“In Medicine Words, Dianne Connelly shows us how we shape our lives with words – in the words we choose to say to others and to ourselves, and i the meaning we bring to those words. She expands our grasp of concepts such as “love” and “healing,” and inspires us wit a vision of the beauty we can create, even in difficult moments, when we consciously speak (and live) the words and meanings that nurture life.”
-Larry Dossey, MD., Author of Healing Words and The Power of Premonitions
“Dianne Connelly is my heroine! She coined the term “bodymind” (no hyphen) to capture its mysterious seamlessness – and she did it before the rest of the world had begun using the two components in the same breath. Medicine Words, her latest book, is a tour de force of great originality that communicates simultaneously in the metaphysical and no-nonsense practical realms. Dr. Connelly’s brilliance and wisdom shine through every single page of this erudite, hilarious, fascinating, spine-tingling, serious collection of short essays and musings on words, where they come from and how we use them. The book, which is somehow the perfect gift for every occasion, is a beautiful gift to us all.”
-Candace B. Pert, PhD., Neuroscience and pharmacologist, author of Molecules of Emotion: The Science Behind Mind-Body Medicine, and recently, Everything You Need to Know to Feel Go(o)d, and a musical chakra meditation CD, Healing the Hurting, Shining the Light.
“There is a word for this book, Wonderful! That is, full of wonder. Read it whenever you need some. Dianne Connelly is the Rachel Naomi Remen of the East!”
